Author #1 - Valinora Troy

Valinora Troy started writing before she could read, and even now that she can read, she still writes. Her love of fantasy fiction was born when her sister told her about the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous places, including Alienskin Magazine, and she is currently looking for a publisher for her book 'The Lucky Diamond', the first in a series of fantasy novels for children. She is very pleased to be part of the inaugural International Day of Books. For more information about her, visit her website at www.valinoratroy.com

Book #1: The Other Side of the Mirror by Valinora Troy

Alisya doesn’t like the carnival, but she is drawn to it anyway.

The hall of mirrors seems to be deserted when Alisya enters. She is alone with her reflections until she notices the face of an old woman looking back at her from one of the looking glasses. Unable to overcome her curiosity, Alisya reaches out to the old woman and finds herself trapped – on the other side of the mirror.

Now Alisya must find a way to get her body back from the creature who has taken it before she dissolves and becomes one with the voices that dwell there.

It is going to take all her strength, ingenuity and resolve to escape from the other side of the mirror.
